Repeat Patterns

Mirror Repeat.

This is a mirror repeat pattern I have done on Photoshop. To do this repeat I've had to change the image size to 5cm by 5cm with a resolution of 150dpi. I changed the canvas size to A4 (20cm x 25cm) and then fitted the image on page view to see how it fit. I then went to edit, fill with pattern and then renamed my design. After this I have used my marquee tool to select rows so I have been able to flip my image to make a mirror repeat.

Mirror Repeat.

As above I repeated all of the steps and on this image and then changed the Hue/Saturation to make a much darker version of the image, I think this image is very strong and I could see it printed on a T Shirt.

Filters

Dry Brush, Dark Strokes & Sponge.

To create this image I have used my marque tool to select different parts of the image, I have then gone into Filters and selected from the list of different filters to get this design, I repeated this twice more to get the other two filters within the image.

Glass.

To create this image I have selected all of the image and gone to Filters, I have looked through the list of different filters and chose this one because I think the texture of the image looks really effective. The image reminds me of wet glass.

Stained Glass.

To create this image, again, I have selected all of it and I have gone into filters and looked at all of them to finally select this one. I chose stained glass because I find the pattern very interesting, the pattern reminds me of sequins and could be something that could perhaps be used as a design for a garment in the future.

Illustrator

Illustrator.
Using illustrator we were asked to design this image, using the pen tool and many others so we could become confident using them.

Vest Illustration.
Using the pen tool I have drawn half of a vest, by copying and pasting I flipped the image around and joined it, creating a full vest top. By using the direct selection tool I was able to fix my vest top giving it a neckline.
